How to do it
- Attach a weight belt or wear a weighted vest before stepping up to the pull-up bar.
- Hang from the bar with an overhand grip, arms fully extended, and brace your core.
- Pull explosively toward the bar, driving your chest up as you keep the added weight controlled.
- Transition over the bar by bringing your chest above it and rotating your wrists on top.
- Press down through the bar until your arms are fully extended at the top.
- Lower under control back to a full hang and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
